Canada is one of the world’s most popular destinations for international students — known for high-quality education, multicultural campuses, and post-graduation opportunities. At Flyworld Immigration, we guide you through every step of your Study Permit process with expert care and personalized attention.

✅ What is a Study Permit?

A Study Permit allows foreign nationals to study at Designated Learning Institutions (DLIs) in Canada. It is not a visa, but an authorization to study; you’ll also need a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) or eTA, depending on your country of residence.

✅ Who Can Apply ?

To be eligible for a Study Permit, you must:

Have a letter of acceptance (LOA) from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) Prove you have enough funds to pay tuition, living expenses, and return transportation Have no criminal record (may require police clearance) Be in good health (medical exam may be required) Convince the visa officer you will leave Canada after your studies, unless applying for PGWP or PR

Types of Application Streams

SDS (Student Direct Stream): Faster processing for eligible countries (e.g., India, Philippines, China, etc.)
Requires upfront GIC, tuition, and IELTS score (depends on a case-by-case basis)
Non-SDS: Regular stream; more flexible but takes longer and may require more documentation.

Post-Study Opportunities

After completing your studies, you may be eligible for:

Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) — up to 3 years open work permit
Permanent Residency through Canadian Experience Class or PNP
Spousal Open Work Permit (if married)

Each case is different — requirements may vary based on your country of origin, purpose of visit, and personal profile. Having strong home country ties and a clear travel purpose increases your approval chances. If you have had a previous refusal, we will help you address it properly.
